Overview: Trainings (Draft)

Training is a claim format currently in development. The data structure described in this documentation is a proposed format which may change with further research and development.

Trainings are events where the security forces of one country are trained by another country (domestic training activities are not a focus of research currently). The focus of the trainings may be on law and policy, weapons usage, technical skills, or other sorts of training. The number of trainees may range from a single person to hundreds of personnel.

Data about trainings are captured in single claim type (this may increase with additional development):

• Training: this claim type records basic information about a training event including its location, the trainer and trainee units, the cost of the training and the dates it occurred.
